Q: Will installing Safe Wedges in my golf carts ensure compliance with state and federal COVID-19 mandates?
A: Safe Wedges are intended to promote physical distancing where the use of golf carts is allowed. To ensure compliance, we highly suggest checking with your local and state government.

Q: What is the Safe Wedge made of?
A: Each Safe Wedge is composed of a polycarbonate piece secured to your golf cart with a specially designed steel bracket. The polycarbonate barrier is crafted using a 1/4" thick polycarbonate sheet that is 250 times stronger than glass and 25 times stronger than acrylic.

Q: Why use polycarbonate?
A: Polycarbonate reigns supreme when it comes to transparent barrier materials.  Not only is it lightweight and easily formable, it is the most durable and flexible. Coated polycarbonate is resistant to scratches, abrasions, and harmful chemicals. It will not crack or weather over time.

Q: Why is the polycarbonate coated?
A: A hard coating is what sustains the durability, clarity, and longevity of polycarbonate. Our proprietary hard coating ensures both sides are resistant to scratches, abrasions, and harsh chemicals. The coating also allows for cleaning of the polycarbonate without causing damage.

Q: How do I clean my Safe Wedge?
A: Our parent company (Five Star Fabricating) offers a window cleaning solution perfectly formulated for these coated polycarbonate pieces.  The best practice is to use this (or a similar) cleaner with a microfiber cloth.  Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners.
